Ilva Jean Trittipo,87, of Indianapolis, passed away on August 4, 2006. She was born on January 20, 1919, in South Bend to the late John J. and Lou Etta (Rich) Allyn. She worked as a clerk in the tool department for Central Hardware for 20 years. Ilva was a member of Oaklandon Universalist Church, the American Legion Guild, Lawrence Homemakers, Lawrence Township Farm Bureau where she served as an officer and member, and Marion Co. Farm Bureau, Inc. where she was a past womanÂ’s leader, current treasurer, and a board member. Her son James Trittipo and sister Edith J. Boring, both of Indianapolis, survive her. Her husband Emory M. Trittipo preceded her in death. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 7, from 4 to 8 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry Moore Lawrence Chapel. Services will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 8, at 2:00 pm with Rev. Loring Prossor officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
